2nd Phase of REMIT Reporting - New Services offered by LAGIE

Since 7 October 2015, LAGIE as Organized Market Place-OMP and Registered Reporting Mechanism-RRM, offers REMIT Reporting Services to the Participants in the Greek Wholesale Electricity Market for Day Ahead Scheduling (DAS). 

The 2nd phase of REMIT reporting starts on 7 April 2016.  From this date, according to the Regulation (EU) No. 1227/2011 and the Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 1348/2014, participants in wholesale energy markets (including producers of electricity from RES units with installed capacity of over 10MW) shall report inter alia to ACER the details of wholesale energy contracts for the supply of electricity or gas, which have been concluded outside OMPs in the form of Bilateral Contracts.

LAGIE as RRM aiming to broaden the services offered to the Participants in the Greek wholesale energy market, is extending the RS-RRM information system (RS-RRM platform) in order to provide additional reporting services for Bilateral Contracts.

The new Services will be available to:

  • DAS Market Participants for the reporting of their Bilateral Contracts (RRM Reporting Service B1)
  • Counterparties of the above DAS Market Participants for the reporting of the among them Bilateral Contracts (RRM Reporting Service B2)
  • Producers of electricity from RES units with installed capacity of over 10MW with an active Purchase Contract with LAGIE (RRM Service Reporting C1)

and will provide the following features:

  • Submission by DAS Participants and their counterparties of the reportable data of their bilateral contracts to LAGIE via RS-RRM platform-RRM, in a predefined xml format (only for the RRM Reporting Service B1 and RRM Reporting Service B2).
  • Automatic generation by the RS-RRM Platform of the corresponding reports and subsequent forwarding to ACER (for RRM Reporting Service B1, RRM Reporting Service B2 and RRM Reporting Service C1).
  • Viewing and downloading by the DAS Market Participants, their counterparties  and the producers of electricity from RES units with installed capacity of over 10MW with an active Purchase Contract with LAGIE, of the reports submitted by LAGIE to ACER (for RRM Reporting Service B1, RRM Reporting Service B2 and RRM Reporting Service C1).
  • Viewing and downloading by the DAS Market Participants, their counterparties  and the producers of electricity from RES units with installed capacity of over 10MW with an active Purchase Contract with LAGIE, of the corresponding ACER receipts (for RRM Reporting Service B1, RRM Reporting Service B2 and RRM Reporting Service C1).

The above services will be offered free of charge for 2016.  

REMIT Reporting Services Agreement

Prerequisite for obtaining the abovementioned services from LAGIE is the Market Participants’ subscription to the Register of Subscribed Users of the RS-RRM Platform after the conclusion of the REMIT Reporting Service Agreement with LAGIE. The Agreement comprises of:

  • General Terms and Conditions that are applicable to the offered Services
  • Subscription to Service(s), of the Market Participant and registration of necessary basic data,
  • Services Description and,
  • Service Fee with the applicable fees per offered Service.

 LAGIE publishes the updated version of the REMIT Reporting Service Agreement (with track changes), which includes the new Services offered.

Participants will be notified of the date of registration, the registration process for new and existing users and other details in due time through our website.
